On the physical or electronic trading floor, time is money, and secure on demand visitor access increases productivity and customer interaction. Having deployed a secure NAC infrastructure for their UK offices, eSpeed required a simple way to manage the provisioning of external visitor accounts. Being the financial sector, security was critical. The high volume of interaction with external visitors also required an efficient and professional process. After a succesful evaluation, eSpeed was able to integrate amigopod with their existing security infrastructure and personalise an administration interface for their non technical operators. Receptionists, operational and other designated staff can now quickly provision network access for registered visitors in compliance with existing security policy.
A custom branded interface along with personalised print templates ensure compliance with corporate branding policy and familiarity for staff to operate. When eSpeed merged with BCG in April 2008, an amigopod 'skin plugin' was added to the existing installation, dynamically transforming the look and feel. A single amigopod vma-50 provides integration with the security infrastructure whilst offering multiple user and presentation interfaces for operational staff.
