Management Team

Carlos Gómez Gallego:  Founder and Managing Director. Carlos is responsible for the ongoing product development and market strategy for amigopod.  Carlos has over 12 years experience working in High Tech startups in the security and wireless space in Europe, United States and Australia.  Prior to founding amigopod, Carlos was responsible for product management of wireless and firewall solutions including Aerohive and Palo Alto Networks at Exclusive Networks Iberia, part of the Exclusive Group.  Carlos has also held Product Management roles at Bluesocket along with Senior Sales Engineering roles at LogLogic and Datamark working globally with Tier 1 and Tier 2 channel partners. Carlos has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Systems, Class II Honours from the University of Queensland.

David Wilson:  Founder and Director of Software Development. Dave is responsible for the Research and Development of the company’s visitor management solutions. David has over ten years broad experience in the technology industry with a specialty in software development and has achieved numerous accreditations and awards in C++, PHP and wireless, Linux and embedded systems.  Prior to joining amigopod, David was Senior C++ Software Engineer at Technisyst where he was responsible for wireless multi-mode data development. David also has significant managerial experience, founding Symergence and Net Toaster Network Corp, both focused on business-oriented network appliances.  David has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Systems, Class I Honours from the University of Queensland.

Cameron Esdaile:  Director of Business Development. Cameron has over 15 years experience in networking, security and wireless having introduced several key vendors into the Australian market.  Prior to joining amigopod, Cameron was Country Manager for Airmagnet Australia and has played an integral role in many major wireless implementations in Australia bringing vast experience across many of the leading wireless manufacturers such as Aruba, Cisco, Motorola, Trapeze, etc.  Cameron has also held senior engineering positions at Cabletron and KPMG Consulting where he was responsible for the design and implementation of core networks for various carrier scale deployments and large enterprise customers. Cameron has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Western Sydney.

Luke Brooks:  Founder and Director of Operations. Prior to joining amigopod, Luke was a Senior Programmer for RCP, one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest independent Project Management consultancies serving the construction and development industries, where he provided a wide variety of professional services.  Luke has over ten years experience in engineering project management and planning, and during his time with Costain worked on high profile projects such as the Channel Tunnel Rail Link and the refurbishment of St Pancreas station in London.  Luke has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Queensland.
