amigopod Verified
amigopod verified is a program designed to test and validate the integration of the amigopod visitor management solution with manufacturers of wired and wireless access controllers.
As part of this verification process, each vendor is invited into the amigopod labs and the ideal configuration is developed and documented. This configuration then forms the basis of the amigopod Integration Guides that are used extensively in customer deployments.
The integration focuses on two main areas:
- Firstly, the vendor must support a robust implementation of RADIUS Authentication, Authorization and Accounting (AAA). Additional RADIUS functionality such as RFC 3576 for dynamic authorization and Vendor Specific Attributes are also investigated and tested.
- Secondly, the integration testing examines features that influence the branding and quality of the user experience of the solution. The ability to support external Captive Portals, apply bandwidth management and firewall policies, ability to retain the customer’s originally requested URL and session logout capabilities are examples of functionality reviewed during this process.
Customers can be assured that their chosen wired or wireless networking infrastructure will be compatible and is known to work with amigopod if it has received an ‘amigopod verified’ status.
