Visitor Management – the ability to create, modify, delete and automatically expire temporary accounts that permit access to your existing network and/or Internet Service.

Self Registration – through the use of an easily customizable web interface,  self registration allows visitors or guests to register themselves through a series of questions for Internet Access. Often used for the collection of demographic or customer satisfaction information.

Captive Portal – support for one or many fully branded landing or splash pages used for the presentation of Terms & Conditions, authenticating your guests or providing a self-registration capability.

Bulk Import/Export – provides a facility to manage the bulk entry/backup of both guest user details and RADIUS enabled networking devices.

Email/SMS Account Delivery – electronic delivery of guest account credentials via SMS and email avoids the need for visitors to register for access at a nominated reception point to have access to a receipt printer.

Operator Profiles – through the use of either internal or Active Directory / LDAP authenticated accounts, administrative access to the amigopod can be controlled to a very granular level.

Customizable Interface – both administrative and guest facing interfaces can be customized to suit the exacting business requirements of any customer through the Forms & Fields editor.

International Language Support – with a global customer base, the amigopod interface supports the installation of Language Plugins to ensure all forms and fields are displayed in the local language. Double Byte characters commonly found in Asian languages are included in this support.

Security Manager – the inbuilt Security Manager providers a self audit and diagnosis service to alert and suggest remediation options for any security vulnerabilities detected.

Network Diagnostics – is a set of inbuilt tools to self diagnose network connectivity and analyse any associated issues.

Transparent Proxy – provides basic proxy transparency through network integration techniques such as WCCP and Policy Based Routing with the added value of reporting on guest web browsing activities for audit and forensic purposes.

Hotspot Manager – is designed for those customers that wish to build a commercial hotspot where visitors to their location can self manage the creation of a guest account by entering in their credit card details and selecting a suitable usage plan such as 1 hour, ½ day, 24 hours access.

High Availability - provides a redundancy and database replication solution for amigopod deployments. Using an Active / Passive clustering strategy all RADIUS, Captive Portal and operator traffic can remain active in the event of a single hardware failure.

Reporting – the amigopod reporting manager provides a default set of usage and trending reports plus the ability to edit and create new reports to match a customer’s requirements. All database fields are available to be included in new reports along with many custom filters and groupings via the graphical report editor.

Backup / Restore – the ability to backup (& hence restore) all or selective parts of the amigopod configuration and reporting data via realtime or scheduled operations. Options include FTP, SMB file shares or online amigopod cloud based backups.

Webservice – amigopod Webservice is our online licensing and software distribution platform which allows customers to install all licensed software simply by the click of a button over the Internet. All software updates and customer specific custom development is also available via webservice.

PMS Integration – provides the ability for amigopod to interface with commonly used Property Management Systems deployed in hotels to manage guest accounts. The ability to query for a current checked in guest before being granted Internet Access or placing a charge on a guest’s account are both supported.

Content Manager – is a web based interface for managing external content such as graphics files, documents, custom HTML pages that the customers wishes to host on the internal amigopod web server.

RADIUS (802.1x) – provides support for common 802.1x EAP authentication protocols such as PEAP, TLS, TTLS typically used in Enterprise wired and wireless authentication deployments.

RADIUS (Proxy) – is a facility to proxy authentication requests to external user databases such as remote RADIUS servers, Active Directory, LDAP Servers.

RADIUS (VSA) – provides support for complex authentication designs through Vendor Specific Attributes (VSA) using an editable RADIUS dictionary. Conditional expressions are also supported to implement varied business rules as part of the RADIUS authentication and authorization process.

RADIUS (Debug & Test) – detailed debug and test tools provides great visibility into the authentication process and speed up any integration issues.

Advertising Services – provides an advanced content delivery platform that is the basis of the Next Generation Hotspot. Monetizing Free WiFi access with Public Access environments can now be easily achieved through amigopod’s business intelligence data collection and demographic targeted advertising delivery.

Visitor Intelligence – is the ability to leverage amigopod’s core Self Registration capability to collect business intelligence data about your guest’s preferences and experience. Intelligent ‘labelling’ is applied to this data to allow for matched content delivery.

Captive Advertising – is the ability to define and leverage ‘spaces’ within the typical Captive Portal splash and welcome pages to deliver targeted advertising content. With the mandatory display of these pages for every Hotspot user, this new advertising medium is becoming one of the most effective and targeted delivery platform for the new modem web enabled consumer.
